About:
Otukpo is a metropolitan LGA in the Idoma region, with a population of 266,411. The Idoma are the dominant tribe. Other tribes, such as Igede, Igbo, Hausa, and Yoruba, are numerous and have a long history of existence within in Otukpo.

Goal & Opportunity:
SHIFT held an advocacy meeting with community chiefs and other stakeholders to gather information about key issues affecting the community. 88 members of the community were present at the meeting.

Impact
The OCM enabled SHIFT to identify some of the key issues affecting the people of Adoka, Otukpo LGA and empowered the people in the community to collaborate together and solve these issues.
