Iboture

About:
Ibore is a historical city in northern Esan and an ethnic group in Edo State, Nigeria. It is one of the major towns in Edo State’s current Esan Central Local Government Area. Ibore is one of Esanland’s most culturally rich towns. The Iruen, Elbolo, and Igbikhio festivals are particularly significant among its diverse cultural heritage.

Goal & Opportunity:
SHIFT held an advocacy meeting with community members to gather information about key issues affecting the community.

Impact:
The OCM enabled SHIFT to identify some of the key issues affecting the people of Ibore community  and empowered the people in the community to collaborate together and solve these issues.
